Assignment:

Write a reflection paper discussing this question:

Parents are not born knowing how to be parents. But teaching or getting them to WANT to learn about children’s development seems difficult. They do not generally seek out information until they really need it, their child is in trouble with school or learning, or they are at wit’s end. It seems that parents would want to know how to raise a child that is healthy mentally and physically. How can the concepts about children be conveyed so parents have a basic understanding of their child? What are the (five) most critical points to convey to parents of preschoolers? Of middle-age children? Of teenagers?
